He fired at his aim from 275 yards away, 40 yards to the right, into the woods. Garcia, who was upset, blamed Woods for his stroke. The Spaniard claimed that while Garcia was making his shot, Woods retrieved a 5-wood from his bag, drawing shouts from the audience.

Garcia was completely frustrated after the shot, and he told NBC that having an experience as a golfer, you can figure out when the other guy will hit. According to him, Woods must have pulled like a 5-wood or a 3-wood, and then, as usual, everybody started screaming.

Of course, the legendary golfer would not let it go easy. Woods replied, “Obviously, he doesn’t know all the facts.” He said that Garcia was reacting without complete knowledge because, according to the marshal, Woods had already hit and pulled the 5-wood.

Garcia fell short by one stroke as the game came down to the wire.

Garcia glared at Woods after making a long birdie putt at the par-three 13th. He said that it was not intentional; the only purpose was for Woods to know that if he wanted to win, he would have to play for it.
